We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing operations team at our distribution center in Lawrenceville, GA. This is a full-time position (40 hours a week) with full company benefits.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation of the distribution center, including loading, unloading, stocking, and processing construction materials.
- Assist with warehouse office management, handling shipping, receiving, purchasing, and administrative tasks within warehouse operations and distribution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store all materials and equipment.
- Pull, pack, and ship orders accurately.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented according to standard operating procedures.
- Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and suggest improvements for existing procedures.
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Operate industrial lifting devices to move products, equipment, or materials.
- Manage logistical operations through warehouse software and coordinate with distribution partners.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Job Requirements
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others to accomplish tasks.
- Highly organized, both professionally and personally.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to pass drug and background tests.
Physical Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs or more and frequently bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
Certifications / Licenses
- Valid driver’s license with access to transportation and insurance.
- Forklift certification preferred.
