Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports the operation functions of the warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving incoming freight, checking for damages or shortages, distributing materials to proper stock locations, filling special orders/backorders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role also involves supporting delivery operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and organization within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

1. Receive incoming freight and check for damages or shortages.
2. Distribute materials to proper stock locations.
3. Fill special orders and backorders as material is received.
4. Follow up on receiving discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
5. Check and pack materials for delivery.
6. Coordinate deliveries with trucks and carriers.
7. Maintain shipping equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
8. Ensure accurate labeling and inventory of managed materials.
9. Maintain delivery vehicle condition and logs.
10. Operate equipment safely and adhere to safety regulations.
11. Support warehouse operations and communicate inventory issues.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of work experience.
• Experience with warehouse distribution, forklift operation, electrical products knowledge is a plus.
• Driving requirements: at least 21 years old, valid driver’s license, medical certification if driving.
• Knowledge of Windows, Internet, email, SAP is advantageous.

Physical and Activity Requirements

Includes lifting, carrying, reaching, balancing, and repetitive motions, with specified weights and frequencies. Daily activities involve sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and operating equipment, with exposure to weather conditions.

Additional Information

The hourly rate ranges from $18.58 to $27.86 depending on experience. The role may include additional duties as assigned. The description is subject to change at the employer's discretion.
