Job Description
The Warehouse Associate will move materials and/or other items from receiving to production, storage, or other designated areas by hand, forklift, crane, etc.
Responsibilities
- Safe loading, securing and delivery of orders.
- Picking the correct material and quality according to the order pick ticket.
- Organization of material and product for storage.
- Support compliance and internal control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy, including cycle counts.
- Unloading incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Checking for damaged or missing items.
- Preparing shipping by recording weight, size and verifying the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds if necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and experience with scanners and barcodes is desired.
