The Warehouse Associate position exists to ensure effective movement and management of inventory between the dock, sales floor, product repair, customer pickup, and delivery. This role ensures the proper evaluation and shipping of merchandise and manages inventory flow. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for unloading trailers (Receiving). It is an individual contributor role within a designated unit.

Job Duties:

  1. Fill order requests, stage merchandise, and load for timely shipments (Shipping).
  2. Evaluate products and move to designated zones for processing (Receiving).
  3. Move merchandise between dock, stockroom staging area, sales floor, customer pickup or delivery, and remove 'sold' merchandise from the sales floor.
  4. Audit and maintain accuracy of the HFM (Hold for Merchandise) staging area.
  5. Assemble merchandise.
  6. Assemble and disassemble fixtures for seasonal flexes or floor plan changes.
  7. Process receipts and ensure inventories are controlled, monitored, and logged.
  8. Create required documentation to log all shipments and deliveries to customers.
  9. Ensure customer service through timely, attentive, and friendly service during all customer pickups and inquiries.
  10. Report and respond to Store Management about unsafe and/or unethical conditions.
  11. Develop a team environment with the sales floor, providing timely movement of merchandise and setting the floor to presentation standards.
  12. Protect company assets by following policies and procedures for customer pickup procedures.
  13. Perform daily housekeeping, including cleaning and straightening.
  14. Perform miscellaneous duties as required, including assisting as extra sales help once cross-trained.
  15. Maintain a safe and clean receiving area.
  16. Assist customers by delivering items to their cars, helping load and secure merchandise.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and move at least fifty (50) pounds to maintain flow and replenishment of merchandise.
