Summary: From picking and loading the correct merchandise to ensuring on-time arrival and product setup, our supply chain team plays a vital part in delivering a smooth Mattress Firm shopping experience. In our warehouses, you’ll contribute to helping people sleep well so they live well every day.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries.
• Store all product in designated locations and ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
• Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping; obtain appropriate and authorized signatures on paperwork.
• Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
• Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
• Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment; may operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
• Maintain grounds, stock areas, and cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks, and aisles.
• Remove trash daily, recycle materials, and sanitize products per Company SOP.
• Complete required training modules and certifications; follow safety policies and company standards on appearance and branding.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts and escalate concerns to leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general work experience preferred.
• General knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment used for product relocation and safety inspection.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks.

Physical Demands

• Lift or move 100 pounds or more.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions; occasional kneeling, stooping, or crawling.
• Good vision and hearing; use of hands and fingers.

Compensation

Competitive $17.50 hourly, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available at the discretion of the Company. Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
