Overview

Now Hiring! Warehouse Associate. Weekend availability required. The role supports loading, unloading, staging deliveries, inventory management, and ensuring a smooth final step of the Mattress Firm shopping experience through warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries.
• Store all product in designated locations.
• Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
• Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
• Obtain appropriate and authorized signatures on paperwork.
• Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
• Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
• Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment; may operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
• Maintain grounds, cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks and aisles.
• Remove trash daily and recycle materials.
• Clean and sanitize product per Company standard operating procedures.
• Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
• Follow safety policies and company standards on appearance and brand representation.
• Communicate concerns to leadership to ensure department efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years general work experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure completion of work.

Physical Demands

• Lift or move 100 pounds or more
• Sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing
• Usage of hands and fingers; reaching with hands and arms
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally
• Sight required for safety

Compensation

Competitive $16.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available at the discretion of the Company.
