Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing all duties related to the daily operations of the warehouse, including picking and packing orders, receiving shipments, shipping products, housekeeping and inventory control. The position works closely with colleagues and team members within Operations and Quality to ensure that goods are correctly received, stored, and shipped according to procedures, regulations, and customer standards.
Job Details
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Horsham, PA, with standard working hours of either 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
Job Functions
- Support the operations, logistics, receiving, shipping, and inventory control of products.
- Ensure inventory is properly labeled and stored in the correct storage locations.
- Work with the Warehouse Operations Supervisor and Manager Warehouse and Logistics, US to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained.
- Process scheduled shipments accurately and ship on time in accordance with Company requirements.
- Ensure all site shipments are processed in accordance with customer requirements and distribution instructions.
- Participate in the storage, inventory and preparation of controlled temperature shippers and supporting materials.
- Coordinate with logistics teams and couriers to confirm shipments are picked up on time and per requirements.
- Perform cycle counts as required.
- Raise deviations as directed by operations management and QA.
- Support investigation of incidents and complaints as required by operations management and QA.
- Provide suggestions for process improvements.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a GMP warehouse.
- Participate in GMP labelling and distribution activities under the guidance of the Production Supervisor as workload requires, including ambient, chilled, and frozen environments.
- Work in temperatures from 15°C to 25°C, 2°C to 8°C, -25°C to -15°C with appropriate PPE.
- Handle products per labelled storage conditions (uncontrolled, 20°C, 5°C, -20°C and -80°C) including packaging materials such as dry ice.
- Other duties as directed by Warehouse Operational Management.

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent; 2-5 years’ experience in warehousing and domestic/international distribution operations.
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry is preferred.
Skills / Qualifications
- Basic knowledge/understanding of managing and shipping Dangerous Goods is preferred.
- Proficient in operating systems including Oracle, eQms, etc.
- Experience with international shipping documentation and regulations is desirable but not essential.
- Basic understanding of cGMPs, GDPs, GXP inventory control, materials management, and cold chain shipment is desirable but not essential.
- Detail oriented with strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Trustworthy, reliable, accountable, flexible, and adaptable.
- Basic understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet functions.
- Knowledge of ERP and inventory management software is helpful.
- Current forklift license holder is preferred.
