Overview

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking, and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Mebane Distribution Center. Schedule

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7 AM - 5:30 PM until the work is done. The four-day workweek consists of four 10-hour days. The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Competitive pay starting at $20.25+ per hour

Responsibilities

• Efficiency and Organization: You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe
• Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with
• Additional Opportunities and Professional Development: Other duties and growth opportunities may also be assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe
• Heavy Lifting: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED etc)
• Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus
