Overview

Warehouse Associate at Floor & Decor. This role is the backbone of our retail location, responsible for compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise, checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift. Position type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.

Responsibilities

• Compile orders and replenish/move merchandise on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle.
• Check inventory and orders; interact with customers.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Restock show floor and organize merchandise to company standards to ensure easy shopping for customers.
• Load out customers with the correct product and assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

Working Conditions

• Occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently; ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects as required.
• Stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and crouch or crawl as needed.
