Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of longevity in previous warehouse positions and will be accustomed to working in non-climate-controlled environments. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, and the candidate must have a proven track record of efficiently handling tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping products. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm - alternating Saturdays 8am to noon

Duties:

1. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers for the movement of goods.
2. Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and containers.
3. Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular checks and updates.
5. Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
6. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
7. Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, storing, and organizing products within the warehouse.
8. Ensure that all packages are handled with care to prevent damage during storage and transit.

Qualifications:

1. Proven longevity in previous warehouse roles with a demonstrated ability to stay with employers for extended periods.
2. Previous experience working in non-climate-controlled warehouse environments is a must.
3. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers is highly desirable.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
5. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. A proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency in all operations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
