What will I be doing?

- Schedule meetings, travel, workshops and associated logistics

- Proof reading of meeting materials

- Creating agenda items in NovusAgenda

- Sending meeting agenda mailouts

- Posting agenda to websites

- Transcription of meeting minutes

- Administration of department finances including:

- Assists in review and tracking of department annual budget

- Consolidated monthly credit card statements

- Create purchase orders and check requests when needed

- Look up invoices in vendor portal

- Processing invoice for payment

- Work/meet with vendors and Finance staff with issues on invoices

- Tracking all telco invoices monthly with ACH payments

- Submit monthly report to finance for inventory distributed to staff

- Other secretarial functions, including: Drafting and typing correspondence, file management, mailing lists, mail-outs, faxes and e-mail communications, handling telephone calls and messages, greet visitors

Key Qualifications

- Ability to deal politely and creatively with a wide range of individuals, in both formal and informal settings

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

Do you have…

- A degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study

- Less than 1 year of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties
