Description

Location: Westborough, MA - Programs located at our Westborough Treatment Campus. Staff may be placed at any of the several programs located on the campus. Nursing staff are cross-trained to cover all programs and levels of care.

Pay rate: $20.00-$21.00/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd shift

The Administrative Assistant Is Responsible For

  • Performing a variety of administrative duties in support of clinical and programmatic operations.
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventories for assigned programs.
  • Ordering linens, towels, hygiene products, printed materials, and other items necessary for program operations and maintaining inventories.
  • Overseeing office equipment maintenance and contacting vendors for items such as copiers, phones, cable/internet, IT support services, etc.
  • Performing basic billing functions, including benefit verifications and administrative billing tasks.
  • Managing clinical record filing systems, including discharge records, coordinating pick-ups, and tracking records for retrieval.
  • Tracking documentation completion within the electronic health record system and sending reminders to staff of incomplete items.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of office/clerical support experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience with billing or admissions processes in healthcare is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of appropriate business correspondence protocol.
  • Excellent verbal, social, and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse, interdisciplinary setting with clients, families, staff, and agencies.
