We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role supports department operations through effective organization, communication, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to department leadership and staff.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
- Prepare, format, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain department records, files, and data entry systems in compliance with TMH policies.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Order office supplies and ensure department equipment is properly maintained.
- Assist with processing invoices, reimbursements, and departmental billing.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA and TMH guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative or clerical experience in a healthcare or office setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service and teamwork.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment or hospital system.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or scheduling systems.
