We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role supports department operations through effective organization, communication, and administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to department leadership and staff.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
  • Prepare, format, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain department records, files, and data entry systems in compliance with TMH policies.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Order office supplies and ensure department equipment is properly maintained.
  • Assist with processing invoices, reimbursements, and departmental billing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA and TMH guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or clerical experience in a healthcare or office setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service and teamwork.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment or hospital system.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or scheduling systems.
