Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Nursing Administrator to support our client’s medical facility based in Manhattan, NY – 10002. This is a 2-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: New York, NY – 10016.

Pay Range: $19 to $21 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday 9a - 5p - Varies

Duration: 02 Months (Contract) with possible extension

Responsibilities

  • Research, compile, and organize data for reports and presentations.
  • Assemble and categorize figures for calculations and statistical reporting.
  • Prepare and monitor department budgets, grants, and accruals.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare documents for account reconciliation and approvals.
  • Manage and update departmental employee files, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Process HR and payroll transactions; coordinate with HR/payroll departments to resolve issues.
  • Generate and submit weekly payroll reports.
  • Organize logistics for meetings, seminars, conferences, and visiting professorships.
  • Prepare informational materials and transcribe/distribute meeting minutes.
  • Investigate and resolve routine administrative or operational issues within the department.
  • Review documents submitted to supervisors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and coordinate reorders with Purchasing to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Track and renew vendor contracts as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal departments and external partners to support departmental objectives.
  • Assist with grant applications, special projects, and survey preparation (e.g., JCAHO).
  • Make travel arrangements and process reimbursements and expense reports.
  • Manage incoming mail and calls, screen and prioritize communications, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Schedule patient appointments and referrals; maintain billing records for submissions.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience (bachelor's preferred).

Experience:

  • 2 years of medical admin exp required
  • 4+ years related administrative or business experience
