Job Type: Part-time (9 am - 2 pm, Monday to Friday)

Location: North Phoenix, AZ

Salary Range: $17 to $21 per hour

Prior experience in cabinetry isn’t required—what matters most is a great attitude, a knack for communication, and the ability to keep things organized.

Since 2009, we have been dedicated to providing quality, custom cabinetry solutions for both residential and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our ability to deliver cabinetry projects that meet the specific needs and preferences of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer Inbound Calls: Answer incoming calls from prospective clients, referrals, and other inquiries. This manageable volume of calls may require you to prequalify and schedule consultations, address basic questions, or screen/transfer to another staff member as needed.
  • Respond to Emails: Manage emails from prospective clients or vendors, and follow up on inquiries received in the general inbox.
  • Greet Walk-ins and Appointments: Welcome visitors and scheduled appointments, direct them to the correct person, and assist with scheduling consultations for new clients. Help prequalify walk-ins and guide them to gather information for future appointments.
  • Make Outbound Calls: Conduct outbound calls to clients, vendors, and partners as needed for various purposes, such as client follow-ups, vendor coordination, and delivery appointments.
  • Assist During Meetings: Occasionally assist with note-taking during client meetings to ensure all important details are captured, helping the meeting flow naturally without missing key points.
  • Manage Office Supplies: Help with stocking and ordering minor office supplies, ensuring the copy room and office are well-stocked.
  • Prepare Vendor Orders: Potentially assist with preparing vendor orders for review, submission, and approval.
  • Organize Meals for Meetings and Events: Assist with ordering meals from nearby restaurants for small group meetings, employee celebrations, and working lunches. This includes gathering meal preferences and managing orders to ensure everyone is taken care of without the need for large-scale catering.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and office software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable making phone calls and managing email communication

It would be amazing if you have experience with...

  • Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Trello or other project management tools
  • QuickBooks Online or other accounting software
  • A passion for, or experience in interior design
  • Knowledge of cabinets or construction, particularly in residential projects (commercial experience is a plus)
  • Personal experience in custom cabinet project(s), even as a customer, to understand the decision-making and stress involved
