Overview

Wellesley Asset Management, a growing registered investment advisory firm specializing in convertible bonds with assets under management over $2 billion, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our firm in our Portsmouth, NH office.

This is a fast-paced, high-level role suited for a polished, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic financial services environment. This role requires on-site presence five days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering calls and providing administrative support to our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and provide administrative support to the firm
  • Manage the front desk by answering phones, greeting clients and visitors upon arrival
  • Oversee office supply inventory and vendors
  • Coordinate technology and office assets
  • Work collaboratively with firm executives to provide administrative assistance

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, including calendar management
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks, following through in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Professionalism and the utmost discretion
  • Ability to push/pull/lift bulk mail (approximately 30 pounds)

Education

  • Bachelor's Required

Work Experience

  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a professional setting supporting an office and senior executives
