Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Part-Time Remote Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting. This role is essential in helping our department function smoothly and in alignment with our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing virtual events
  2. Draft, edit, and proofread emails, memos, and other documents
  3. Maintain digital filing systems and databases with accuracy and confidentiality
  4. Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and meeting materials
  5. Handle incoming inquiries via email or phone and direct them to the appropriate personnel
  6. Support data entry, recordkeeping, and document management tasks
  7. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as needed
  8. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  2. Minimum of 2 years of administrative or clerical experience
  3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and video conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  4. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  7. Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
  8. Familiarity with public health or healthcare settings is a plus
