This position provides office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects. It offers administrative, clerical, and project support in a professional and confidential manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and supervising departmental functions such as reception, telephone communication, and mail distribution.
- Attending meetings, preparing minutes or summaries.
- Maintaining and reporting data, statistics, and research.
- Assisting with rent collection and resident certification processes.
- Managing correspondence and scheduling appointments.
- Creating and maintaining filing systems and resident records.
- Responding to inquiries and conducting Village tours.
- Gathering data, scheduling interviews, and assisting with resident admissions.
- Coordinating special events and creating newsletters and flyers.
- Upholding a positive customer service environment and participating in meetings and training.
- Following policies, procedures, and promoting the organization's mission and values.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED, with some college education or equivalent experience preferred.
- Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and desktop publishing.
- Certified Occupancy Specialist certification (HUD or MSHDA) required within 6 months.
- Experience with affordable housing property management software.
- 1-3 years of relevant office experience, preferably with subsidized programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
