Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care, has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant of Medical Services in our SE Division. This position is scheduled to work in Littleton, Englewood (Swedish Medical Center Campus), Aurora, and Centennial.

Salary Range

$22.50 - $26.00. Pay is based on factors including education, experience, and certification. Benefits include health, dental, vision plans, wellness programs, 401(k), life insurance, disability insurance, PTO, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, provides administrative support for the department. Handles tasks related to projects, records, and communication. Supports compliance with the US Oncology Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support for projects, data compilation, and report preparation.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and handle correspondence.
  • Support programs and processes, handle requests, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Design and update forms, manage files, and coordinate schedules.
  • Maintain databases, process invoices, and update records.
  • Maintain physicians' licenses, certifications, and credentials.
  • Coordinate physician schedules and handle patient chart requests.
  • Transcribe medical notes and complete patient forms.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; Associate's preferred. Minimum three years of office experience.

Physical Demands

Prolonged sitting, some bending, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds. Accommodations available for disabilities.

Work Environment

Office setting with frequent staff contact. Exposure to clinic conditions.
