The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to faculty, students, and staff in the Departments of Economics and Political Science. Under the supervision of the Financial & Administrative Officer (FAO), this role manages the departments' colloquia series, acts as the primary receptionist, and assists with accounting, financial transactions, travel coordination, event support, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include handling purchasing, reimbursements, organizing travel and honoraria for guests, conducting facility walkthroughs, submitting work orders, and serving as a resource for students and faculty to ensure smooth administrative processes.

Candidates will be required to take a skills assessment during the interview process. The salary range is $28.44 - $40.76 per hour, with an expected pay scale up to $33.39 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Applicants must have current work authorization; UC Riverside cannot sponsor employment visas. All employees must comply with university policies and applicable government directives.
