About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Administration Assistant to join our friendly team at our aged care home in Myrtle Bank. This vital role supports the daily operations of the facility by providing high-quality administrative and reception support to residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet residents, families, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general correspondence
- Maintain resident records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant
- Support rostering, admissions, and onboarding processes
- Liaise with internal departments, healthcare providers, and suppliers
- Process invoices, timesheets, and purchase orders where required
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is well maintained
- Assist the Facility Manager and care team with administrative tasks as needed
About You
- Previous experience in an administration or receptionist role, preferably in aged care or healthcare
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office systems
- Friendly, compassionate, and respectful approach to aged care residents
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (as per aged care requirements)
