Administrative Assistant Position Summary
Supports the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization by providing high-level administrative support to various departments. Responsibilities include organizing, coordinating, and tracking key initiatives and daily operations to enhance organizational effectiveness. Tasks include supporting communication, scheduling, document management, training coordination, and operational workflows, with occasional involvement in special projects, research, and implementation efforts.

Essential Functions
- Model and uphold Barnes culture; act as coach and mentor.
- Familiarize with all operational roles to support and guide as needed.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop plans for change, advancement, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead projects to improve gross profit and support company objectives.
- Outline project tasks and delegate accordingly.
- Serve as liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to provide training and information for solutions, programs, and systems.
- Track and report operational results, ensuring growth and progress toward organizational goals.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding; identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain calendars for executives, including scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
- Support leaders in preparing for meetings, including materials, follow-up, and correspondence.
- Prepare and distribute communications and records of meetings.
- Coordinate and assist at company meetings, events, and celebrations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Handle administrative inquiries efficiently.
- Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Three years of related experience preferred; healthcare experience is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Prolonged sitting and working at a computer.
- Occasional travel possible.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
