$18.50/hr - $21.50/hr

Overview

The CCR&R program provides families with essential information, resources, support, and tools to identify and evaluate high-quality childcare options through consumer education and direct engagement, utilizing both technology and in-person interactions. This position will involve a wide variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the CCR&R program, offering administrative support to the Senior Statewide and Assistant Program Directors, as well as the Community Engagement Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various aspects of the CCR&R Provider Database, handle childcare complaints, oversee shared email inboxes, schedule meetings, prepare meeting agendas and take notes, coordinate travel arrangements and staff training (as needed), submit and track expenses, place supply orders, respond to data requests, generate reports, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Administrative tasks including planning, note-taking, organizing and scheduling meetings, responding to consumer emails, greeting consumers, answering phones, printing and typing documents, preparing and conducting presentations, managing projects, and supporting supply requests and other duties.
  • Account and expense tracking: collect, manage, and submit expenses and receipts to accounting; track expenses through spreadsheets.
  • Complaint management: triage childcare complaints from start to finish, communicate with complainants and relevant agencies, update notes in the CCRR Provider Database, and meet contract requirements.
  • Data analysis and collection: assist with data collection, review, aggregation, and reporting; fulfill data requests for consumers and funders; support surveys and special projects and annual reports.
  • Quality improvement and reporting: gather consumer feedback, evaluate performance and services, prepare quarterly/year-end reports and monthly narratives.
  • Advocacy: represent the program at community events and meetings as needed.
  • Technology and software: use program-specific software to collect data, analyze performance, and support program operations and professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned by CCR&R leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education and background

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Business preferred.
  • Administration or related field preferred; Vocational School Certificate or Degree from an accredited institution strongly preferred.
  • Work or volunteer experience in child care and/or early childhood education programs preferred.
  • Bilingual required; fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred (speaking and writing).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; capable of handling a wide variety of tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (365), Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Canva, browsers, databases; strong computer skills required.
  • Excellent organizational, time, and task management; detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Strong written and oral communication, presentation/public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team; initiative to complete tasks.
  • Knowledge of office methods and procedures; experience with CRM/call monitoring software and relevant systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of community resources and social services in Arizona; knowledge of child welfare and child care programs preferred.
  • Resourceful in educating consumers about community resources and values diversity in families.

Agent requirements

  • Location: direct service to designated consumer base in Arizona.
  • Maintain a safe home working space with adequate internet connectivity.
  • Comply with agency policies including confidentiality, conduct, computer usage, and dress code.
  • Meet program/department performance standards; attend required meetings; adhere to supervisor schedule.
  • Model CFR’s core values; participate in PQI initiatives.
  • Eligible to obtain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance; pass background checks.
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, vehicle registration, and comply with liability insurance requirements.
