Key Responsibilities
Billing Support
- Prepare, verify, and process claims for Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and other payors.
- Reconcile billing data, notes, and supplies to ensure accuracy in claims.
- Track payments and follow up on outstanding claims as directed.
- Assist with billing reports and escalate discrepancies or denied claims for resolution.
- Answer phones, take accurate messages, and provide professional assistance to callers and visitors.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and office activities.
- Maintain organized records, prepare reports, and support HR with onboarding and employee files.
- Provide clerical and travel coordination support as needed.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in the medical field.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and billing software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid drivers license and auto liability insurance.
- 1+ year experience in a medical office setting.
