Job Summary:
This role provides administrative support for our Credentialing team: CME tracking and reporting, CAQH, cleaning up the files on our shared drive, hospital support, licensure support, CredentialStream support, f/u on applications, handle the team fax and any physical mail we receive, including Medistreams and mailing apps to physicians via interoffice mail and regular mail via USPS, malpractice renewals, scanning, answering phone, keeping kitchen area clean and ordering supplies.
You will:
- Organizes and maintains files of supervisor’s correspondence and records, following up on pending matters.
- Performs independent research and prepares information for special reports, gathering and summarizing data.
- Schedules meetings, appointments and other events; notifies attendees, and makes necessary arrangements.
- Promptly and courteously answers telephone calls. Provides effective and efficient assistance to callers and distributes messages as necessary.
- Drafts confidential correspondence, edits document, takes and transcribes minutes of meetings, and performs other administrative and secretarial duties.
- Serves as a liaison between executives, managers and visitors.
If You Are:
- Working knowledge of computers, including Outlook, MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to handle moderately complex assignments under minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
- Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
- Ability to be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work effectively both independently and with others.
