SUMMARY

Performs various accounting clerical tasks as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Process accounting data including scanning, auditing, and inputting, i.e. accounts payable, general ledger, receivables, cash, etc.
  2. Type miscellaneous correspondence and word processing.
  3. File data and keep files current, i.e. month-end reports.
  4. Answer telephones and support staff in their activities.

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma with a minimum of one year business/office experience including automated systems.
  2. Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  3. Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
  4. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  5. Self-motivated; ability to work independently.
  6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  7. High degree of attention to detail.
