Description

This position involves performing a variety of clerical duties that may vary depending on the office, requiring knowledge of office management systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Responsibilities include answering phones, typing, operating office equipment, and filing, in accordance with individual office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with employees and other individuals to answer questions, share information, and handle complaints.
• Answer and direct phone calls, take messages.
• Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities and transactions.
• Operate office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, voice mail systems, and computers.
• Compute, record, and proofread data, records, and reports.
• Maintain and update filing systems, inventories, mailing lists, and databases manually or digitally.
• Review files and documents to gather information for requests.
• Observe safety and project rules at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to plan daily work effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions based on measurable criteria.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Reliance on instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Work under immediate supervision.
• Typically report to the Site Manager and Human Resources.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: 10%, Walking: 10%, Sitting: 80%
• Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling: 20 lbs.
• Activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling (with symbols indicating frequency).
