Responsibilities

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum safety conditions and report any issues immediately.
• Drives tanker truck to predetermined destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local roads.
• Works with paving crews, spray bituminous tack-coat.
• Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Reports problems with traffic or site conditions promptly and gathers information about the job site and route conditions.
• Ensures truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs are performed according to guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Hourly Range

$25.00 - $26.00, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or related work experience.
• 1-2 years CDL driving experience with GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
• Must have Tanker endorsement and valid class B CDL.
• DOT physical requirements compliance.
• Hazmat experience is preferred but not required.
• Skilled in loading and unloading fuel/oil from fuel trucks at terminals.
