Base pay range

$18.85/hr - $30.10/hr

Summary

CHS Rochester in St. Charles, Claremont, and Grand Meadow, MN are looking for Seasonal Truck Driver(s) to join our team for harvest. You would be responsible for hauling fertilizer and grain to our local customers and facilities. The typical duration for this position is October 1st - end of November (weather dependent). This would be a M-Saturday position with ample overtime potential. A current CDL is preferred but not required. Join our amazing driving team today - apply now!

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely pick up/deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Assist with loading or unloading, as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service. Treat customers professionally; greet customers promptly and courteously. Promptly handle all customer concerns and elevate to leadership if required.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. This includes pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) inside and out, and work environment.
• Complete and document daily maintenance inspections. Ensure proper equipment maintenance including repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, training, PPE procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
• Report all incidents (bodily or property), accidents, and traffic violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing program and the Continuous Monitoring Program.
• Assist operational staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned. May include intercompany related driving.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain a seasonal CDL.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.

Additional Qualifications

• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands
• Valid Class A CDL preferred
• Agriculture background preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience preferred
• Pre-employment screening may be required per job requirements; if required, must pass screenings including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on factors such as experience, education, training, and certifications. Eligibility for 401(k) may be available.
