One Federal Solution is seeking a Part-Time Truck Driver to support our federal government client in the DMV area. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a commercial truck to transport goods and materials within the designated area. The ideal candidate must have a clean driving record and be Public Trust eligible.

Truck Driver Tasks And Duties

  • Operate a truck to transport materials within the DMV area, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods as required by the government client.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and fuel usage.
  • Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Adhere to security and confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive materials.

Truck Driver Requiered Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid CDL (if required for vehicle class) and a clean driving record.
  • Must be Public Trust eligible and able to pass a background check.
  • Prior experience driving commercial or government vehicles preferred.
  • Knowledge of Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia traffic routes and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift and move materials if needed.
