Position: Retail Associate – Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Team Store. This role supports customers to ensure a positive shopping experience, maintains merchandise presentation, and adheres to store standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and friendly customer service; greet customers, make eye contact, and engage with them throughout the store.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
- Follow all company best practices and safety procedures; maintain awareness of safety and security on the sales floor.
- Assist customers with merchandise, questions, and checkout; respond promptly to customer service requests and escalate to Store Leadership when needed.
- Represent and support the Ross brand at all times; safeguard confidential information and company assets.
- Perform cleaning tasks and replenish restrooms as needed to maintain store standards.
- Assist with receiving and merchandising newly received merchandise; expedite items to the sales floor according to guidelines.
- Understand Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
- Follow MOS policies and cash handling procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and maximize productivity by following store best practices.

Qualifications And Special Skills
- Effective communication with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
Physical Requirements / ADA
- Ability to use store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PC as required.
- Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to bend, lift, reach, stoop, and climb as required; may occasionally lift more than 25 pounds.
- Stockroom shifts may require pushing/pulling and lifting more than 20 pounds.
