Based on our tremendous growth we are adding to our Retail Team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Store Associate** to be based at our **Buffalo, NY** location.**JOB SUMMARY**Provide a high level of customer service and interact with customers. Assist customers in person, over the phone and via email. Handle all retail transactions including cash, credit card, check and on-account purchases. Have a positive attitude and demeanor and are expected to develop a working knowledge of the products that they sell. Provide prompt service to customers and to return phone calls and emails in a timely fashion.**RESPONSIBILITIES**-

Assist customers with all types of sales including, but not limited to uniforms, firearms, and ammunition in person, over the phone and via email-

Complete required sales paperwork and registration documents for firearms sales-

Accountability in all retail transactions including cash, credit card, and on-account purchases-

Provide prompt and courteous customer service in person and over the phone-

Research information on products or orders for customers and provide communication to assist them in making the best product choice-

Assist with inventory placement, organization, and counting-

Continually develop comprehensive product knowledge on existing and new product lines-

Attend organizational or training meetings-

Report problems or issues to the Store Manager-

Merchandise and organize products on the sales floor-

Maintain a clean, safe and organized retail showroom-

Other duties as assigned**SUPERVISORY & OPERATIONAL AUTHORITY**-

Reports directly to the Store Manager-

Given business requirements, and in the absence of a Store Manager-

Manager, may have operational control of store for short periods of time**QUALIFICATIONS**-

Proficient computer skills-

Attention to detail and accuracy-

Strong organizational skills-

Ability to multitask-

Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures-

Ability to adhere to Company safety policies and procedures-

Must be able to present a clean, professional image-

Must be able to keep work environment clean, presentable, and safe-

Responsible for entering in daily time keeping requirements-

Ability to pass criminal background check-

Must have a record of stability with employment history-

Must have an 'owners not renters' mentality-

Minimum Of One (1) Year Related Experience-

Sales experience includes handling or selling of firearms or tactical/protective law enforcement or emergency gear-
