Position: Retail Associate Production (Finance)

Position Summary

Contribute to the mission of Goodwill in a retail store setting. Maximize store efficiency, appearance, and customer and associate satisfaction. Process donations promptly for sale floor placement.

Essential Duties

1. Inspect donations and raw materials for quality to determine marketability, following the Retail Operations Manual.
2. Sort raw materials, categorizing them for store use, salvage, or trash.
3. Tag donated items according to Goodwill’s rotation system.
4. Hang and display sorted goods on the sales floor based on productivity standards.
5. Produce the required number of items daily, meeting minimum standards.
6. Follow the uniform dress code as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
7. Maintain an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
8. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and learning new procedures quickly.
9. Be cross-trained in various production and customer service roles.
10. Follow Assets Protection procedures for control and compliance.
11. Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
12. Adhere to the work schedule.
13. Meet physical requirements necessary to perform daily tasks.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; consideration given to a combination of education and experience. No prior experience or certifications required. Must pass a criminal background check. Driving is not required.

Follow safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with and adhere to the Goodwill Privacy Policy 10.23 regarding Confidential Information.

Physical and Work Environment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of objects up to 25 pounds. Work in a moderate environment with occasional exposure to extreme conditions. Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
