Retail Associate Production (Finance)

Position Summary

Contribute to the mission of Goodwill in a retail store by maximizing efficiency, store appearance, customer and associate satisfaction. Process donations promptly for placement on the sales floor.

Essential Duties

1. Inspect donations and raw materials for quality to determine marketability as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
2. Sort raw materials, categorize for store use, salvage, or trash.
3. Stand and tag donated items according to Goodwill's rotation system.
4. Hang sorted goods for placement on the retail sales floor based on productivity standards.
5. Produce the required number of items daily according to Goodwill's minimum standards.
6. Adhere to the uniform dress code standards.
7. Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
8. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and learning new procedures quickly.
9. Be cross-trained in multiple production and customer service roles.
10. Follow Assets Protection control and compliance procedures.
11. Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
12. Adhere to the work schedule.
13. Handle the physical requirements of the job daily.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance

High School Diploma or GED preferred; a combination of education and work experience will be considered. No prior experience or professional certifications are required. The candidate must pass a criminal background check. Driving is not required for this role.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent handling of objects up to 25 pounds.
• Work in a moderate environment with occasional exposure to extreme conditions.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
