Job Description

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care and the operation of floor cleaning equipment. Tasks include the operation of scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adheres to all operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care
• Operate scrubber and buffer equipment
• Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass and windows
• Adhere to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards
• Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs
• Uphold merchandising signage standards and store recovery as needed
• Adhere to labor laws, meal and break policies; maintain safety awareness

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
• Team-oriented, collaborates effectively with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred

Salary and Benefits

This position has a starting pay range of $15.50 to $16.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
