Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, upholding customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows procedures
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Participates in shrink reduction goals and safety programs
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

This position has a starting pay range of $14.65 to $15.15 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
