Overview

Retail Store Associate role at Wild Fork. You will be trained to deliver a memorable guest experience, with product knowledge to provide recommendations on proteins and dishes, and ensure inventory accuracy for freshness and availability.

Starting Wage

$18.00 per hour + Monthly Bonus Potential

Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador – educate customers about Wild Fork Finest quality and what WFF stands for
• Develop product and culinary knowledge; share recipes and tips for cooking our proteins
• Provide a butcher-friendly shopping experience by personalizing service at every step
• Assist customers at checkout and deliver a memorable experience
• Stock duties: lifting up to 50 lb, rotate products, place orders, dust and clean store
• Monitor daily price changes and assist with cash register operations as needed
• Process customer e-commerce orders and coordinate timely pickup or delivery
• Work in a cold environment (walk-in freezer) and participate in monthly inventory
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in freezers
• Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
• Frequent movement within the store to access departments and products

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred
• One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant is required
• Excellent verbal communication; able to listen and respond to a diverse customer base
• Team-oriented with integrity and a sense of urgency
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Fundamental math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
