Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Data Analyst to support the execution of a comprehensive Data Modeling Strategy Roadmap.

This role will play a key part in aligning data initiatives with business goals, enhancing data governance, and enabling scalable, secure, and high-quality data usage across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Discovery & Alignment

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and data needs.
  • Identify data-related challenges and align data requirements with business goals.
  • Assist in documenting key data domains and creating high-level entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).

Governance & Quality Foundation

  • Support the definition of data ownership, stewardship roles, and governance policies.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of data quality KPIs.
  • Assist in evaluating and improving metadata tools and documentation standards.

Security, Tools & Usage

  • Help classify and secure sensitive data in compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, SEC).
  • Analyze current data tools and support standardization of modeling and reporting toolkits.
  • Track data usage patterns and support analytics initiatives through dashboards and reports.

Scalability & Execution

  • Contribute to the development of a scalable and actionable data strategy roadmap.
  • Assist in prioritizing initiatives and tracking progress toward short- and long-term goals.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralized inventory of data models and ensure integration of KPIs and analytics.
  • Support technical governance processes, including version control and CI/CD for data models.
  • Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to implement tools and build capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, data governance, or data modeling.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, Alation, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of data quality metrics, metadata management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data strategy frameworks and agile project environments.
