We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the delivery and execution of high-quality talent and operational data analytics for the HR Talent organization.
This role requires expertise in data querying, modeling, and analytics, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of workforce data.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in data infrastructure development, process automation, and analytics-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Snowflake Data Migration: Assist in the Snowflake Data Migration Initiative and help re-map existing Alteryx workflows.
- Data Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and maintain data management systems and pipelines.
- Data Wrangling: Build, evaluate, maintain, and improve Alteryx workflows for high-quality data analysis and reporting.
- Collaboration: Partner with data analysts to enhance data models that feed business intelligence tools, improving data accessibility.
- Create Data Models: Develop models to identify talent trends and automate processes and tasks.
- Optimize Data Architecture: Continuously refine data architecture to meet evolving talent data needs.
- Reporting & Analysis: Perform data analysis using various systems and tools to produce recurring and ad-hoc reports for strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement automated solutions to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ad-hoc Data Requests: Handle priority-based ad-hoc data requests and backlog tasks.
- Documentation: Document data definitions, scope, and process flows related to the platform.
- Data Governance: Plan and execute data catalog and data quality initiatives using a mix of vendor and in-house tools.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with key business partners, providing valuable insights and continuous improvements.
- Domain Expertise: Become an expert on data content, scope, and business process flows within the platform.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 3+ years in data analytics and governance.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Expertise in Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI for report and dashboard design.
- Coding & Databases: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R; experience with Snowflake, Azure, and SQL Server. (C++, Java, and HTML are a plus.)
- Enterprise Resource Planning: Exposure to Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and flexibility.
- Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, storytelling, and interpersonal skills to convey complex insights effectively.
