Job Description:

Role
- Experience playing a leadership role in enterprise-wide Data Quality Management, Data Resource Management, Data Stewardship and/or Data Administration programs at a large company similar to B M S
- Familiarity with process improvement frameworks such as the SEI CMMI
- Master Data Hub architecture, data design and implementation
- Data Quality Management and Data Architecture standardization
- Metadata management, design and integration
- Data Warehouse architecture, data design and implementation
- Proven analytical skills to evaluate and interpret cross-functional data standardization requirements
- Ability to resolve complex issues related to enterprise-wide data architecture concerns
- Ability to architect data management enterprise solutions aligned with strategic technology roadmaps and industry trends
- Experience in Computer Systems Validation and Software Quality Assurance
- Management style exhibiting high energy, strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication, and results orientation
- Effective in matrix management and team building
- Poise, maturity, and communication skills to represent the data architecture group internally and externally
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Data Architecture Development
- Developing a Data Management Process Framework and Capability Maturity Model
- Creating a quantitative maturity assessment/scoring model
- Executing Data Management Capability Maturity Assessment for specific functional areas
- Defining enterprise information architecture including Data Architecture Process Standards, Master Data Hub Technology Architecture, and architectural deliverables for Portfolio Management and SDLC
- Developing strategic solutions and best practices sharing
- Collaborating with Global Shared Service Governance teams to institutionalize policies and standards
- Leading the definition of enterprise data architecture to support business needs
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding data architecture status and issues
Technical Qualifications
- Data Modeling
- Physical database design and tuning
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Proficiency with tools like ERWin, Informatica PowerCenter, Data Profiling, etc.
- Serving as technical expert on applications, code, interfaces, and data flows
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining application programs and interfaces, translating specifications into solutions, and supporting effective implementation
- Maintaining relationships across IT areas to support project success
Qualifications
- Full SDLC experience including analysis, design, coding, testing, tuning, and documentation
- Experience with process quality methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, analytical and creative problem-solving ability
- Leadership in business analysis, client interaction, and process design
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years IT program development experience or equivalent
