Job Description
MAIN FUNCTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Analyst to oversee the management and optimization of our data warehouse systems. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, drive data strategies in alignment with business objectives, and ensure seamless integration across various departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or a similar role. Proven experience in data warehousing or a similar role, with a track record of successful data warehouse implementations and ongoing maintenance.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of data warehouse technologies, database management systems, and programming languages such as SQL, with expertise in maintaining system performance and updates.
- Strong foundation in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift a plus
- Familiarity with Data Lake/Lakehouse models
- Proficiency with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS
- Power BI expertise including DAX and service admin
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes and data sets to optimize data warehouse performance and ensure continuous improvement. Analyze both structured and unstructured data to provide comprehensive insights.
- Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with proficiency in project management methodologies and tools for both implementation and maintenance phases.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex data warehouse concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating ongoing support and training.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions during data warehouse deployment and post-implementation maintenance.
- Adaptability: Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in data warehouse technologies and integrate them into business processes, ensuring the system remains current and efficient.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with a focus on systems management and maintenance.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, data warehousing certifications, BI certifications) are a plus.
- Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW): Essential for transforming raw data into meaningful information that supports decision-making and enhances business operations and outcomes.
- Modern Data Architecture & Storage: Cloud Data Warehousing
- Experience with platforms like Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
- Executive Management: Collaborate with senior leaders to align data warehouse strategies with organizational goals and secure necessary resources.
- Department Heads: Work closely with heads of various departments to identify data integration opportunities and ensure smooth implementation.
- IT and Development Teams: Coordinate with technical teams to oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of data warehouse modules. Ensure data warehouse systems comply with data privacy regulations and maintain robust security standards.
- End Users: Provide training and support to employees to facilitate effective utilization of data warehouse systems.

- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with data warehouse technology vendors and service providers to facilitate successful implementations.
COMPENSATION:
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
