Compunnel, Inc. is hiring: Investment Data Analyst in Town of Texas

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsive team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task. The Investment Data Analyst will support daily operations by performing critical tasks, including investment entity set-up for trading desks, detailed data analysis, and identifying and resolving data issues. This role requires close coordination with clients, market data vendors, and business and technology partners across Client. Quality, accuracy, and timeliness are critical to success in this function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform investment entity set-up for respective trading desks.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify and resolve data issues.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and timeliness to support daily operations.
• Interact with vendors, clients, and end-users of the data to address inquiries and issues.
• Provide accurate responses to customer inquiries.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks, meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Collaborate with all levels of staff, management, and business partners to support operational needs.
• Utilize analysis and reporting tools to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Contribute to data mining, reporting, and operations research efforts.
• Create data visualizations and reports to support business operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience working in Operations, Business Analysis, and/or Data Analysis roles.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to resolve data-related issues.
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Financial Services Industry, particularly with reference data.
• Familiarity with analysis/reporting tools such as SQL, R, and OBIEE.
• Data analytics, data mining, reporting, and data manipulation experience.
• Knowledge and skills in data visualization.
