Construction Worker Job at Bighornlaw in Truckee

The Tahoe Tradesman is looking for skilled laborers to join our small residential remodel team. We tackle everything from full remodels to small bathroom projects, deck builds, patios, fence work, etc.

We are seeking knowledgeable, skilled individuals who can work independently without constant supervision. An average day involves being assigned a scope of work, with all necessary materials and tools provided, and successfully completing the tasks for the day. Project Managers are available for questions, but we expect our crew members to have a solid working knowledge of most trades to be effective on a small field crew.

Responsibilities

1. Excellent communication and attention to detail
2. Follow directions and exercise good judgment to identify when changes are necessary and questions should be asked
3. Safely operate power tools
4. Arrive on time, prepared to work
5. Maintain a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Working knowledge of remodeling, including but not limited to, framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, tile, demolition, finish carpentry, concrete work, etc.
• Knowledge of JobTread or similar management software is a significant advantage
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Compensation

$30 - $42 hourly
