About the Role

As an Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring projects stay on budget and on track. Using your experience, industry knowledge, and sharp analytical skills, you'll develop precise cost estimates and work closely with field teams to bring projects to life. Your work ensures efficiency, accuracy, and financial success—all while maintaining compliance with legal and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications and historical data to create detailed cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to gather insights and optimize estimating accuracy.
  • Maintain organized records and current pricing information from suppliers, ensuring bids remain competitive and well-informed.
  • Provide detailed reports and communicate bid strategies effectively to field teams upon project award.
  • Evaluate design options and recommend solutions that balance cost efficiency, quality, and material availability.
  • Uphold all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Take ownership of large-scale project estimates with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure regular and timely attendance while adapting to evolving project needs.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • 5–10 years of construction estimating experience required.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical training preferred.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Proficiency with estimating and bidding software.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts with precision.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Professional ethics, tact, and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Passion for delivering accurate, strategic estimates that drive project success.
