Overview

A well-established general contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support an upcoming university project . This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their construction career to gain exposure to complex, high-visibility builds while working alongside an experienced project team.

What You’ll Do

• Support project managers and superintendents with scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with day-to-day communication between subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Contribute to project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience as a project engineer, assistant project manager, or related construction role.
• Exposure to healthcare or educational construction projects strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented and eager to grow within a supportive environment.
