Advantage Trailer is hiring: Sales Representative in Carol Stream

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, with a focus on building relationships and driving business growth. This role involves engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their experience. The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets. Base pay plus commissions.

Responsibility

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through effective account management.
• Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and close deals in both B2B and direct sales environments.
• Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track sales progress, and analyze data for informed decision-making.
• Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
• Engage in cold calling and lead generation efforts to identify potential customers within assigned territories.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client needs and maintaining ongoing communication.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development.

Skills

• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly, especially over the phone.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Proficient in using CRM and sales tracking software.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including a few Saturdays per month.
• Requires some out-of-state and local travel for trailer shows and events throughout the year.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $45,000 per year base salary plus commissions
Expected Hours: 40 per week

Schedule

• 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
• 8am-2pm Saturday (1 day off during the week when working a Saturday)
