- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all company and client safety policies in collaboration with the Safety Department.
- Serve as a leader in implementing and promoting COP’s Corporate Safety Policy.
- Ensure all required safety reports are completed within 24 hours.
- Pre-Construction Planning
- Review and interpret construction documents (contracts, submittals, plans, specs, drawings, as-builts, etc.).
- Attend pre-construction meetings with project teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Set up budgets, cost codes, subcontracts, and purchase agreements.
- Coordinate with the Contract Administrator to ensure all contractual insurance and indemnification requirements are met.
- Secure permits, transmittals, and submittals required for project execution.
- Project Execution & Management
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Oversee subcontractor management, ensuring compliance with all contract requirements.
- Track and update project costs, revenue projections, and material quantities.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in project billing, payment tracking, and documentation.
- Project Closeout
- Conduct final walkthroughs with the project team, owner, architect, and engineers.
- Audit all paid quantities and submit substantial completion documentation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in heavy civil construction. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects with strict timelines and budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn new construction software.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontracts, and specifications.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients, engineers, co-workers, and subcontractors.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to remote construction sites as needed.
- Experience with wastewater treatment plant projects is a plus.

Work Schedule
