Balance Staffing is partnering with a multinational automotive manufacturer in Orange County, CA to bring on an Infrastructure Project Manager to support internal infrastructure initiatives across multiple business units. This is a fully onsite, multi-year contract with the opportunity to play a key role in a major departmental restructure that will serve as the foundation for future growth and transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and executing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously (Data Centers, networks, facilities, A/V, wireless, MDFs/IDFs).
- Developing project charters, scope documents, work breakdown structures, project plans, vendor SOWs, and communication plans.
- Overseeing vendor deliverables, driving team deliverables per plan, and raising risks/issues with solution options for management.
- Building detailed project plans including resource availability and allocation.
- Making decisions on changes to project/product scope, policy, and development in line with Change Management processes.
- Maintaining and resolving items in the RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) Log.
- Monitoring, measuring, and reporting project progress to management and clients using SLA, KPIs, and reporting tools.
- Supporting process documentation by contributing to Team Run Books, procedures, and standards.
- Operating in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines, daily collaboration with customers and engineers, and accountability for multiple projects at once.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years managing infrastructure projects (Data Centers, networks, facilities, A/V, wireless, MDFs/IDFs)
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost savings analysis, and communicating financial performance to leadership.
- Expertise in generating charters, scope docs, WBS, project plans, vendor SOWs, and communication strategies.
- Familiarity with driving SLA and KPI metrics.
- Hands-on project manager who follows through on commitments.
- Strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance multiple projects while driving continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and agile environments.
- Experience executing projects in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
