Position SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact wastewater treatment plant reconstruction project in the Quad Cities . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction, particularly in water/wastewater infrastructure, and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-year projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full project lifecycle including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout
- Oversee subcontractors, safety compliance, and quality control
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teams
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and standards
- Administer change orders, pay applications, and cost controls
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment
- Utilize Primavera P6 for project scheduling (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy civil or wastewater infrastructure project management
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Proficiency in project management software; Primavera P6 experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage large budgets and multi-year schedules
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work on-site
